Born in Mexico City in 1979, Morgan Szymanski studied at the Royal College of Music and Conservatorium van Amsterdam, graduating in 2004 with first class honours. He immediately went on to become the first solo guitarist to be selected by YCAT and was the first guitarist to be awarded a Junior Fellowship at the RCM, where he completed his Masters with distinction.
A top prize-winner at international competitions, he has given performances as soloist and with orchestras at major venues and festivals throughout Europe , Mexico , Guatemala and the USA .
Ruth Rogers was awarded a Foundation Scholarship to the Royal College of Music to study with Itzhak Rashkovsky, where she won many major prizes and awards. Ruth graduated in 2001 with First Class Honours and was awarded the Tagore Gold medal - the College's highest accolade. Winner of the prestigious Manoug Parikian Award, Ruth gave her London debut recitals at the Wigmore Hall and the Purcell Room in 2003 and was chosen as a 2004 Young Artist by the Tillett Trust.
Ruth regularly works as concertmaster of the Britten-Pears Orchestra, the Manning Camerata, and the London Strings. She also works as guest leader of the Britten Sinfonia and guest principal second violin with the Hallé Orchestra.
