Born in Sydney Australia in 1984, Pei-Jee and Pei-Sian Ng grew up in Adelaide studying at the Elder Conservatorium. In 2003 they won full scholarships to study with Li-Wei and Ralph Kirshbaum at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, graduating with distinction.

Both Pei-Jee and Pei-Sian have won numerous individual prizes: Pei-Jee was Symphony Australia Young Performer of the Year in 2001 and in 2008 was selected for representation by Young Concert Artists Trust. Pei-Sian was Commonwealth Musician of the Year in 2007 and won the Gold Medal and First Prize in the Royal Over-Seas League Music Competition held in London.

The twins have appeared individually as soloists with orchestras throughout Australia and Asia and given recitals at major festivals and venues including the Edinburgh Fringe, Newbury Fringe, Newbury Spring, Gower Music and Blackwood River Chamber Festivals, the Elder Lunch Hour Concert Series in Adelaide, the Jurlique Herb Farm Concert Series and the Academy of Melbourne Mozart Series.
